Free Hockey Foundations Classes

This year La Trobe University Hockey Club will host a series of Hockey Foundation classes. These free sessions are open to all, including non-members, who are looking to learn the basic skills and rules of hockey.

The sessions are perfect for those who have never picked up a stick as an introduction to the game as a casual way to give it a go. Facilitated by Vic League coaches Ryan Tout and Greg van Meeuwen, the classes are designed to be fun and social.

The Hockey Foundation classes are aimed at adults and teenagers, however are open to anyone aged 10 and over. If your child is under 10 please see our Hookin2Hockey program.

Please register on the link above. Sticks and shinguards can be provided on the day, you only need to bring a mouthguard and comfortable shoes/runners.

While our new field is being developed on Plenty Road, these sessions will be hosted at Parade College in Preston (not Bundoora).

Members are encouraged to invite their friends and family along.
