Phil Nguyen Awarded Outstanding Service at Blues Awards

La Trobe University Vice-Chancellor John Dewar awards Phil Nguyen with Outstanding Service at 2022 Blues Awards

Last week La Trobe University hosted the 2022 Blues Awards, a celebration of  sporting excellence across elite and grassroots sport in the community. Returning for  the first time since 2018, La Trobe University Hockey Club was recognised with Phil Nguyen awarded an Outstanding Service award on the night.

Phil Nguyen has been a volunteer on the Committee for more than a decade, including the last three years as Vice President helping the club through COVID-19. Earlier this month he was elected as the 2023 President.

Phil joins a long list of club members who have been recognised in previous years.
