In its second month, the Jetts Player of the Month recognises members who have excelled the most on field, both at training and seeing game day success. The monthly winner receives Jetts Pack, club drink bottle and stubbie holder.
This month, our winner is Will Erickson.
Will has been a stalwart of the Men’s 5s program for years, enjoying playing with his father (and Club Legend Ross Erickons). But in 2016, Will pushed himself to play at a higher level, and thrust himself into a big preseason to earn a spot in the Men’s 1s. These days he’s playing on the forward line for VicLeague 1, a seamless transition for Will.
He works hard on his game, plays consistently well, has a quality unlike many others and has become a key figure on the pitch. Will’s work rate, skills and general attitude have already marked him as a key player in our Men’s 1s squad. He’s also a contender for owning the Club’s most lustrous hair (sorry Thwaiter!).
