La Trobe University Hockey Club’s Men’s 6s won the Metro 2 North West Premiership flag yesterday, the second for the club in the 2022 season.
Playing against Craigieburn, who they lost to in the first round of finals but having finished on top of the ladder had a second chance, the Gunners came home victorious in the grand final.
Securing the lead with an early goal, the Men held out in a battle that finished 5-3.
This is the club’s second flag this season, with the Women’s 35s winning a premiership earlier in the week.
