After a two year COVID draught, the battle for flags continues at La Trobe University Hockey Club as we come to the end of the 2022 season.
First up the Women’s 35s play this Wednesday night having progressed straight into the Grand Final after a first-round of finals win. They’ll play RMIT for the Premiership.
On the weekend the Men’s 6s in Metro 2 had a nail biting win against Werribee, and will play Craigieburn this Saturday for the Premiership.
Earlier in the week the Men’s 50s went down in a short corner after the siren. But last night the Men’s Open knocked out Essendon in 3-0 and will play Greensborough for the flag on Monday.
Juniors had their first round of finals, with the Under 12s Boys taking out MCC in a huge 9-0 win. Unfortunately our Under 16s Mixed were eliminated from finals.
