La Trobe University Hockey Club will recommence their preseason in January 2021, after a well earned break over Christmas.
The Senior Women will go back on the 12th of January whilst the Senior Men will start later on the 19th of January.
Training will be at Parade College, Preston while our home ground, KP Hardiman Reserve Bundoora, is being redeveloped, ready for Round 1.
All players are invited to participate, whether you plan to play in competitive or social grades. We welcome everyone, including La Trobe students, other students, Juniors, Masters, locals and international players. Everyone is encouraged to come down for a free training session, equipment can be provided (please just bring a mouthguard).
TRAINING TIMES
Initially all players are encourages to attend as many training sessions as possible, particularly if you are interested in playing for higher grades. As we get closer to the season, Thursday nights will focus on the Vic League teams only.
For January and early February, the Women from the 12th of January will be training from 7pm Tuesday’s in January and the Men, from the 19th, will be training 6:30pm Tuesday and Thursday’s.
Please note the club has worked with La Trobe University, Darebin City Council and Hockey Victoria to ensure that we provide a COVID safe environment.
