Welcome to the 2021 season at La Trobe University Hockey Club. Our highly successful and social Internal Mixed Summer comp is back for 2021 starting on Monday the 1st of February. Players of all standards, La Trobe or non-La Trobe, are welcome to play! We have worked hard with Darebin City Council, Hockey Victoria and La Trobe University to put additional process and procedures to provide a COVID safe environment. There will be several COVID marshals at Summer Hockey at all times.
Games will be played on Monday nights, with reduced size fields and smaller teams with modified rules so players of all skill levels can participate and enjoy themselves. This year we are holding the competition at Parade College, Preston Campus (behind the Stolberg Hotel), while our ground is being redeveloped (finally).
We have free drinks after games and after final round we will shout a few drinks at the Stolberg. Due to COVID, we cannot have our normal BBQ or expanded eskie but
It is the ideal way for players to keep in touch, keep their fitness, improve their skills before the winter and of course, to socialise and have fun! The cost is $35 for the season, $15 if you are a junior or $10 per game to play casually.
