This year on the 21st of March, La Trobe University Hockey Club will be travelling to Yarra Valley Hockey Club for the annual tribute to Kevin Bannan, to remember and recognise a life time of dedication to hockey. The shield honours his contribution made to hockey over the years, particularly across two clubs: La Trobe University Hockey club and Yarra Valley Hockey Club.

The day will feature Junior’s, Men’s and Women’s Senior and Masters games, with a short ceremony before the senior games to hear about Kevin and his legacy to Victorian hockey and concluding in presentation to present this year’s winning club with the Kevin Bannan Memorial Shield.
$5 per person gate entry fee. BBQ & drinks will be available throughout the day along with raffle prizes to be won.
All proceeds from the day will be be donated to the Oncology Unit at Royal Melbourne Hospital.
