The La Trobe University Hockey Club is pleased to announce that Sarah Dowling and Zac Martin have been nominated as Heroes of Hockey in a new recognition initiative from Hockey Victoria.
The nominations aim to recognise and reward Club volunteers for their contributions, showcasing examples of high achievement and best practice within the volunteering space to inspire others within the hockey community to invest time into their Club and sport.
Both Sarah and Zac, Secretary and President respectively, have served on the Club’s committee for a number of years. Earlier in the year Sarah was also nominated for Outstanding Female Club Administrator.
The two nominees will be recognised in the Hockey Victoria Annual Report and were invited to attend the 2012 Men’s Champions Trophy.
