Dual Olympian & Medallist Travis Brooks takes training at The Cauldron.
The La Trobe University Hockey Club was pleased to have last Saturday’s training hosted by dual Olympian Travis Books.
Brooks is a gold medalist who scored the equalising goal in the 2004 Athens Olympics. He also picked up a bronze medal in 2008 Bejing Olympics and a gold at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games.
The special event was also hosted by Julia Wood, a specialist Goalie Trainer who currently coaches Essendon’s Pennant A and is the Victorian Country Assistant Coach.
The day included a mix of fitness, elite skill development, team building and motivation.
Preseason is well underway for both the Men and Women’s Seniors with the season kicking off next month.
