For the 2024 winter season, LTUHC is hosting four inclusion & diversity rounds. Each round will have a focus on education, raising awareness and celebrating. The first round is Women, Girls and Non-Binary round taking place on the 4th of May 2024.
As part of the round, we are doing a club run as a way we can come together to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA). The club runs involves the whole club running as many kilometres as possible starting from Monday 29 April until Sunday 5 May 2024.
BCNA supports those affected by breast cancer in Australia. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian women with one in seven diagnosed in their lifetime. Over 20,000 women are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer this year as well as over 170 men. The money raised for the club run will help these women, men and families not go through their journey alone.
