We cater for players of all skill level, no matter if you want to play state league or play a bit more socially. You don’t have to be a La Trobe Uni Student to play. In 2012, we will have six Men’s teams:
1s - State League 3
2s - Metro 1
3s - Metro 2
4s - Metro 3
5s - Metro 3
6s - Metro 4
In 2011, the Men’s club had four finalists, with both the 1s and 2s winning premierships and gaining promotion. In 2012, we will bolster our playing list with players returning from overseas with the addition of some local talent, some quality players from our Uni Games team and retaining all players from last year, we are confident that we can make it to September and get to State League 2 in 2013. We are looking for quality players to strengthen all sides in 2012 , please contact myself (details bottom of the page) so we can discuss the opportunities at the club.
Fees
Fees at La Trobe Uni are heavily subsidised by the university and are by far cheaper than anywhere else in the area. Fees for 2011 are:

Non Students: $355
Or if you cannot commit to the entire season
Partial Fees: $80 up front for the first 4 games, $20 per game there after up to an additional 4 games.
Training
The 2012 Pre-Season schedule is here. If you cannot attend, please let Phil or Trouncy know. Pretty much training Tuesday/Thurs at KP Hardiman from 7pm doing various stuff and Sunday mornings at Princess Park for a run at 9am.
Our annual club training camp will be held on 16-18th of March 2012, which, in conjunction with the women’s teams, will be a mixture of fitness and team bonding and is held at the picaresque beach side village of Queenscliff. All Men’s 1sts players or anyone who wants to play 1sts must attend. All are welcomed and always a good weekend away. Click here for more details on the camp.
Intra-club games, and practice games will begin in March, including the annual Kevin Bannan Shield against our neighbours Yarra Valley Hockey Club. All the practice game details are listed in the pre-season schedule. The metro teams will have practice games organised in late March.

Both coaches have been selected in the Australian Veteran’s team in 2011.
