Four Seniors & Masters Teams Play Finals in 2018

Following last week’s announcement that three Juniors teams were through to finals, this week the Senior and Masters season finished adding four more bringing the total for 2018 up to seven.

In the Seniors the Men’s 2s finished third on the VicLeague 2 Reserves ladder and will face up against St Bedes who finished fourth. Also in the Men’s Seniors were the ‘Handsome’ 5s, who finished third in Metro B Central and play Camberwell.

In the Masters, the 35s finished on top of the ladder in the B North/West division and will be playing for the third premiership back-to-back-to-back. The 45s finished third in the B North/West.

For the Juniors sadly we saw both the Under 12s and 14s knocked out without a second chance. The Under 12s were unlucky to draw against Hawthorn 0-0, with the highest team on the ladder proceeding through to the Preliminary Final. The Under 14s also went down to Hawthorn 0-4.

The Under 16s however knocked over MCC 3-2 and progress into the Preliminary Final this weekend against a strong Doncaster.
