The Men’s 5s finished second on the ladder, and faced up against an undefeated PEGS in the qualifying final. The game finished with a 1-5 upset, and the Gunners progressed straight through to the grand final.
The premiership game was a nailbiter, again up against PEGS. A late goal from James Dzur after the whistle in the third quarter put the Gunners up and set up frantic last quarter. PEGS pressed hard and both teams were desperate for the ball, leading to some cards. The boys held on for a 1 nil win and the Metro 2 flag for the Gunners. A stunning turn around for the team after they won 2 games in 2024.
