La Trobe University Hockey Club is pleased to announce Bob Malcolm as our new Men’s Head Coach in 2025.
Bob has an impressive hockey CV with playing and coaching experience in Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales including coaching top grade in Brisbane and running Level 1 Coaching Courses. Bob has represented Queensland and Victoria at Australian Masters as well playing and coaching at the Masters World Cup. In an incredible CV, Bob has also been a club president as well.
Club president Phil Nguyen was ecstatic to land a coach like Bob at La Trobe. “It is very exciting to have someone like Bob join our club. He has great hockey experience at all levels which can help not only just the men but all areas of our club. Look forward to seeing him in red and white in 2025.”
Bob’s extensive experience is a major boost for the Men’s section and the club who are set to begin its long-awaited construction of the KP Hardiman Pavilion next to the pitch in early 2025.
