In the 2021 season, La Trobe University Hockey Club will introduce the new position of Performance Coach, to be filled by Alex Roberts.
The role will work with coaches across all grades and ages to assist in professional development, as well as identify opportunities for coaches to share, learn and be mentored. The Performance Coach role will also coordinate the Juniors Academy, Foundation Classes and Masterclasses, with more information to be announced soon.
Alex has 15 years coaching experience across a number of sports, is a lecturer at La Trobe University in Sport Coaching & Development, and is a current PhD candidate in Coaching Science. She’s currently working with the Australian Institute of Sport.
