Seven Teams Progress in Finals

2017 has been a huge year for the club on field, with all three Juniors teams making finals, as well as two Masters and three Seniors teams.

As we progress into the second week of finals seven remain with a chance at the Premiership, with four progressing straight through to the Grand Final.

The Junior Premierships take place this weekend, with our Under 14s Mixed facing up against Camberwell while our Under 12s play for the flag against Echo. Both won the first round of finals and had a rest last weekend.

In Seniors, our Men’s 4s beat Doncaster 5-0 and progress straight through. The Men’s 5s pushed out 4th on the ladder and go on to play Melbourne University this weekend. Unfortunately our Women’s 3s went down, but after finishing on top have a second chance this weekend against Footscray.

In the Masters our Men’s 35s+ beat Geelong 2-0, also progressing straight through to the Premiership game in two weeks. The 45s+ got knocked over 0-1 but will face up against Camberwell with a second chance next week.
