Women’s 3s – Pennant E 2016 Premiers
A massive Premiership week for the La Trobe University Hockey Club finished well yesterday with the Women’s 3s winning their 2016 Premiership.
This is the third flag the Gunners have picked up this season, with the Under 12s and Masters 35s adding flags to the wall earlier in the week.
The ladies had a hugely successful season after being promoted from Metro last season, this also being their third premiership as a a team despite continuous promotions through the ranks. Next year they will play in Pennant D.
The Women’s Pennant E final finished 3-1 against Waverly. Unfortunately the Men’s 5s went down to a too-strong Doncaster 0-4.
The Club will be celebrating its hugely successful year at Presentation Night on the 7th of October.
