Under 12s Mixed Pennant North West Premiers
Yesterday the La Trobe University Hockey Club picked up its first Premiership for the season, in a huge back-to-back win for our Under 12s.
Playing in the Under 12s Mixed Pennant North West division, the Gunners won the flag in a tough 2-1 game against Camberwell. Playing very defensively much of the game was congested until a few breaks, putting us in front for the final siren.
This is the team’s second win in two years, and a demonstration of the Club’s commitment to juniors – seeing success on the field and growth in Junior membership every year since the program started.
Next up our Masters 35s play on Monday night, with two Metro Senior teams fighting it out next weekend.
